Evening Church is a contemporary bible-teaching church with a casual feel – all are welcome, and especially youth, students & young workers.
6pm every Sunday is the high point of our life together, when we meet to hear the Bible taught, pray for our world, sing about what Jesus has done for us, and encourage each other over supper.
We meet in the church building. We aim to shape our Sundays around our vision & values [PDF]

Element is a mid-week group especially for workers & everyone’s welcome
Element groups of 8-12 people meet in homes mid-week (mostly Wednesday)
Together we go to the ENGAGE conference [Aug 2008 in Katoomba], as well as catching up lots socially (join the Element email list via this Sunday’s tear-off slip)

Switch is a mid-week group for 18-24 yr olds
Switch meets most Tuesdays @ 7.15pm in the church hall
We spend some time together, then split into our small groups for bible & prayer
If you’re 18-24 and interested, just let us know on Sunday night

Introducing God is a free 8 week course incl dinner, talks & discussion on life’s big issues
Try it out by coming to the Introductory night before deciding to continue

Opportunities to serve >>>
If you trust & follow Jesus, as far as we’re concerned, you’ve been issued your licence to serve, and there’s no need to hold back in looking out for others, talking about God’s word with others over supper, welcoming newcomers, and putting out the garbage.
That said, there are many structured opportunities to serve Christ & his people thru Evening Church - please chat to one of the staff team, or tick the relevant box on the tear-off slip this Sunday.
Just some of the ways to serve are: reading the Bible on Sundays, School Scripture teaching, Prayer, Kids & Youth ministry, Holiday Sunday School, Music, Sound, Bookstall, Catering, Creche, Admin, and upgrading our website.
