Partners in ministry

God’s mission and the Matthias Vision means church isn’t about consuming but serving, just as Christ served us. For this reason, we urge our regulars to consider becoming formal partners in the ministry of St Matthias. Read more

Partners in giving

In the New Testament, partnership in ministry includes putting your money where your mouth is (Php 4:15). We don’t take a collection on Sundays to ensure money isn’t a stumbling block for newcomers - instead our regulars and partners support the ministry through the perspex boxes or electronically (which has advantages for you and for Matthias).

Partners in mission

As we proclaim Christ to Sydney’s east, it doesn’t take long to realise Jesus is Lord of the whole world, and God’s mission involves all nations. We support a number of CMS missionaries - more info & prayer points here
